Abstract:  In this article that I found during my research for recycling, I discovered a thing called “upcycling.” According to Wikipedia, upcycling is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products. This article poses the question, “Can a Global company be local?” The writer then explains how a company can utilize the idea of upcycling in local areas, and help the people see “waste” with wholly different eyes by using local workforce, and local waste made from popular brands of the area. This is a great idea, because there are a lot of plastics, that aren’t recyclable and have no other option than the landfills, well, here’s a better option.
