Abstract: Focusing on this weeks reading by Arjun Appadurai, especially on page 37, narrowing down to the idea of how certain cultural tendencies have multiple effects on an economical and social level, highlighting certain stereotyplical ideals of the Japanese economy, led me to stumble upon this article. Featuring a new trend in Japan, one that pushes the youth culture away from the previous tendency, that would avoid risky situation when dealing in terms of business and personal future, towards the ever growing world of startup entrepreneurship by hosting social events at frequented bars where people can meet others of a similar mindset and in hope of generating a brighter technological future for Japan.
